Methodology
 

We recognize that clients have different business situations and thereby different needs. We therefore adapt our methodology to best fit each client's unique goals. At GM Solutions, our methodology is realistic and flexible, and the role of our GM Process is to support the Development Team in their work to deliver a product that works.

Some engineering methodology works well in the structured and predictable environments of large organizations. They require a lot of procedure, plenty of time, a large team, and stable requirements. However, they are very expensive for small to mid-sized enterprise clients.

For the last couple of years it has been common practice for ambitious small to mid-sized businesses to start projects using disciplined engineering methodologies and finish with no methodology and documentation at all.

As a reaction to these problems, we use a mixture of methodologies which are a useful compromise between no process and too much process, providing a realistic approach to gain reasonable payoff. This adaptive process and iterative development is proven to be a better answer to dynamic requirements and unpredictable environments.

Approach

At GM Solutions, we understand that our clients hire us not only for our expertise but also to eliminate, minimize or share project risk. Using different pricing models such as gain sharing, risk/reward, and value pricing - we can share in the risks of the projects that we are working on.
